The purpose of a cover letter is 1) introduce yourself and your resume, as is proper business etiquette, 2) convey your abilities vis-a-vis the company's needs, and 3) intrigue the reader regarding your potential value to their organization. A well written cover letter entices the reader to learn more about you by reading your resume. In this workshop, we will discuss the different types of cover letters, and the ways you can make your skills and experience stand out. We will also discuss style, content and timing of the Thank You Note, which follows an interview.

Excel 2 begins where the first class leaves off, building upon the basic concepts of the 2013 version of the program. Class will continue to learn terms and functions of Excel. They will incorporate shortcuts, working with multiple worksheets, inserting new sheets and columns/rows to your spreadsheets. This class will introduce basic calculations and formulas. Formatting and style are introduced as students learn to make their spreadsheets presentable. Prior knowledge or completing Excel 1 is required.
